Apple iMac Desktop with 24″ Display MB325LL/A Review
May 13, 2008
Recently we have talked alot about the Apple laptops like the Macbook Air and Macbook Pro, but what about those people who don’t want a laptop? What are they looking for in a PC? Well, after reviewing the iMac desktop, what else could you want?
The iMac MB325LL/A has a 24-inch crystal clear, glossy screen enclosed in anodized aluminum for a sleek look. Thats important because having a iMac is almost like a fashion statement. It’s important how it looks.
Next we look into the heart of the beast. It is power packed with a 2.8 GHz “Penryn” Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 320 GB hard drive, 2 GB RAM (4 GB max), and a 8x multi-format/dual-layer SuperDrive. It is power packed with 802.11n Wi-Fi (as well as 802.11a/b/g); Gigabit Ethernet and a ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO video card (256 MB memory). But wait, there is more, three USB 2.0, one FireWire 400, one FireWire 800, Mini-DVI output, and a audio line in/optical digital audio input.
So, it’s easy to say this machine is fast, loaded, powerful and stylish. Plus, all of this hardware is controlled by Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard and iLife ‘08.
I love Apple for one reason, they give you a ton of options. Whatever you can throw at this machine it can handle. If you want to do graphics design, video editing, sound editing, writing, number crunching, or whatever, this machine will handle it and keep asking for more.
If you are in need of a desktop, try the Apple iMac 24″. You will be so glad you did.
