Apple 4 GB iPod Nano AAC/MP3 Player 3rd Gen Review & Cheap Comparison Prices
November 12, 2007
The Apple iPod Nano is one of the most popular MP3 players to ever hit the shelves. This thing is very tiny but still usable. It lets you enjoy up to 4 hours of TV shows, movies, video podcasts, and more. It also has better interface than the older models. One of the best features is the new 320 by 240 resolution display that’s 65 percent brighter than before. Remember when I said this thing is tiny? Well, it is only 6.5 mm thin and weighs just 1.74 ounces. Thats small.
It can hold up to 1,000 songs, 3,500 photo’s, and 4 hours of video. The battery on this thing is great allowing up to 24hours of audio playback before it needs to be recharged. If you are playing video it’s only 5 hours. It also has a fast charge time with only 80% at 1.5 hours and a full charge at 3 hours.
Sounds cool right? It is. Compared to other MP3 players it’s not the cheapest but it’s not very expensive either. We have a price comparison below. These are the cheapest prices we have found for the iPod Nano.

Garmin Nuvi 350 Pocket Vehicle GPS Price Comparison & Review
November 5, 2007
The Garmin nüvi 350 Pocket GPS is the top seller this year of vehicle GPS devices, and with good reason. It shines above the rest of the bunch with the many features like turn-by-turn directions, automatic routing, and 320 x 240 color touchscreen display just to name a few. Not only that but the 700 MB GPS navigator comes bundled with MP3/audiobook player, photo viewer, and world travel clock. Plus, it comes preloaded with City Navigator NT V.8 with maps of U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico. This is not just another GPS system. This is portable. It’s about the size of a deck of cards and very light. Plus the Garmin nuvi 350 has text-to-speech directions through which the actual street name is spoken, and you can hook up an optional FM traffic receiver to obtain real-time traffic alerts. Not only that but there is an optional travel kit, where you can just slip this thing in your pocket and walk the streets of Paris without worrying about getting lost. Included in the travel kit is also a language translation. The where to page allows you to search for points of interest including food, lodging and transportation, just to name a few.
Conclusion If you are in the market for a GPS system, get this one. It’s light and compact, easy to use, and it has a huge database of turn by turn directions that includes text to speech street names. This is the best bang for your buck model out there. We love it! This unit MSRP is $479.99 but we found it so much cheaper than that. Just look below at our price comparison.

Panasonic DMP-BD10AK 1080p Blu-ray Disc DVD Player Review
November 3, 2007

So, you bought a new HDTV but the image doesn’t look very good when you play a DVD. It looks like the old TV did before upgrading huh?
Thats because your HDTV can only display the best that it is given. So, if your DVD player can’t send out 1080i or 1080p resolution then no matter how much money you paid for your HDTV, the DVD’s will look just like they did before you bought it.
There is a solution and it’s called Blu-ray. Blu-ray is fast becoming the new standard in high-definition DVD players and for good reason. Blu-ray discs can store 25 - 50 GB of data. Thats 5 to 10 times that of a regular DVD. Blu-ray also has the highest image quality of up to 1920 x 1080 at 40 Mbit/sec. Well, enough about the technology, lets get going with the review of this DVD player.
First off, I like the look. It is sleek and simple. It’s appearance will compliment any entertainment center. If there is one thing I hate it is having the light off, watching a movie, only to be distracted by some blinking, bright, blinding, blue LED light from an electronic appliance. None of that here, it has an easily readable display but it’s not blinding when the lights are off. Thank you Panasonic.
The DMPBD10AK is the only Blu-ray Disc player capable of decoding Dolby Digital Plus which is a new surround sound format that uses less compression than regular Dolby Digital. It can support up to 8 channels of surround sound. Very nice!
Panasonic has really impressed me with this one. It very quick to respond when loading a DVD. The options are great and it has 4 different video outputs (only one is HDMI though), and can plays BD-R, BD-RE, BD-ROM, DVD-RAM, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, CD, CD-R/RW, MP3, WMA, JPEG Photo disks! All of this with combined with 1080p resolution and what you have here is one power house of a DVD player.
Overall
If you want a high-definition player capable of the highest quality while also able to support the latest in sound technology, then you have found the right DVD player. This is an awesome DVD player that will make your entertainment center come alive. We highly recommend this player.

Xbox 360 Elite High-Definition Gaming and Entertainment System Review
November 1, 2007
The Xbox 360 Elite is more of an all in one entertainment center than just a gaming console. Although not as feature packed as the Playstation 3, it has some very nice qualities.
The current selection of games are top notch though some would still say there are not enough choices. My thoughts are at $49 - $59 bucks per game, I’ll take quality over quantity any day.
This new model features a HDMI port whereas the older models did not. It can also serve as a Windows Media extender. The online marketplace gives you easy access to purchase mini-games, add-on content, TV shows and High Definition movies.
All of these things are great but, the Xbox 360 Elite still has some issues. They didn’t seem to fix any of the previous complaints of the original Xbox 360. For instance, the Xbox 360 Elite still has the enormous external power supply, Noisy fans, A cheap, crappy DVD player - you still have to buy a bulky external player for HD movies, No Wi-Fi, and only 3 USB ports. It would have really been nice to at least see this model come with an internal HD DVD player.
Conclusion
Even though some issues still exist, this console is the gaming platform of choice for many gamers. Mainly because of the awesome games and the media features. Overall, this console will make a great addition to your world of entertainment.

October 31, 2007
The revolutionary technology that made the iPhone a success now hits the iPod! Available in either an 8GB or a 16GB model, the Apple iPod Touch lets you control everything using only flick, tap and pinch gestures with your fingers.
The 3.5 inch widescreen display automatically adjusts whenever the screen is rotated from portrait or landscape and is crystal clear. Perfect for watching movies!
With built in Wi-Fi, you can browse the internet with the pre-installed Safari internet browser, watch YouTube movies, or download music right to your iPod Touch!
It shows music cover art in a 3-D display, has a battery of up to 22hours for music and 5 for video, and it’s only 8mm thin! So, for those on the go, it will fit perfectly in your pocket. Also, it even has a little clear plastic stand that lets you watch videos without having to hold it in your hand.
The only downside we see with this is that old iPod accessories wont work with it but, it’s a new iPod, new form factor. Plus, I’m sure Apple makes a killing on the accessories so why would they want them to be compatible? Also, there is no disk mode just like with the iPhone. Other than that it’s a very cool little piece of hardware.
Conclusion
This is the future of iPod technology. It makes you wonder how you ever used the old iPod’s before. Truly amazing technology with no drawbacks from what I can tell. An awesome product from those guys at Apple. What will they think of next?

LG Super BH100 High-definition HD DVD / Blu-ray Disc Player
October 29, 2007
So, you want an DVD player that will produce a high definition picture but you are torn between HD and Blu-ray? Well, look no further. The LG BH100 is here. But, does it work like it claims to?
The answer is yes… but wait, before you go run out and buy one, let us break it down for you.

This is an exceptional achievement in home entertainment. Now you don’t have to have 2 DVD players sitting in your entertained center. But, like with everything, there is a drawback. The price is hefty although it has come down since it’s introduction but it still puts a dent in your wallet, unless you are Donald Trump.
It also has limited HD functionality. Yes, it plays movies in HD without a problem but, the advanced features of the DVD will not be available. To me this means that this is more of a Blu-Ray DVD player that will play HD DVD’s. Oh, and although it says this is a 1080p DVD player, you may have some issues if you have older HD TV’s. It may downgrade it to 1080i. Check with LG for compatibility issues.
Other the the above mentioned gripes, it does what it claims to do. It has a beautiful picture and sleek design that will compliment your entertainment center. It will also play DVD-Video, DVD-R & DVD-RW, and DVD+R & DVD+RW. It has selectable 720p/1080i video upconversion for regular DVD and Built-in audio decoding for Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby TrueHD (2-channel), DTS, and multichannnel uncompressed PCM. It also has all of the standard A/V outputs, including 5.1-channel analog audio outputs and a port labeled LAN which I am guessing is for firmware updates.
Overall this is a nice DVD player that is feature rich with lots of plugins. It should be a nice addition to your collection if you choose to buy and you can look past the gripes.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50S 10.1MP Digital Camera with 12x Optical Zoom
October 29, 2007
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50S is a camera of high quality for someone with a high standard. It feels like an SLR but sports a 12X optical zoom, 35m
m to 420mm, f/2.8-to-f/3.7 lens, and a 10.1-megapixel CCD sensor.
Although it may feel like an SLR it is not an SLR and it will still get beat by and SLR. But, for the person that wants similar SLR performance, craves control of their camera and doesn’t want to worry with interchangeable lenses all the time, then this camera is a great choice!
Bottom Line
For a digital, this is about as close to an SLR as you are going to get. Even feels like one. Treat yourself and go with this. You will be amazed at the stunning, professional pictures that come out of this camera every time!

Mitsubishi WD-73734 73″ 1080p DLP HDTV Review
October 28, 2007
Overview
6 colors? What? Did we hear that correctly? Yes we did. No more Red, Green, Blue color standard for TV’s, now we have 6! Mitsubishi’s new 6-Color Light Engine. It gives us 80% more color than standard HDTV.
So Whats Under the Hood?
Mitsubishi’s 6-Color Light Engine generates yellow, cyan, and magenta directly, instead of mixing combinations of the current standard of red, green, and blue (RGB) to create them. This allows the 734 Series televisions to display a wider range of brighter colors and whiter whites.
Color 4D Video Noise Reduction, PerfectColor and PerfecTint are also included technology and allow for additional advanced color adjustment. PerfectColor is an exclusive Mitsubishi feature that enables you to adjust the intensity of six independently of each other and separately on each input.
And don’t worry, there are no lack of inputs with 4 HDMI v1.3 inputs. This TV is amazing in every aspect and of course comes with Mitsubishi’s track record of dependable TV’s which should last for many, many years to come.

Buying a Playstation 3 Online - Shopping Guide
October 25, 2007
Overview
With all of the sites that show up in a simple Google search, you can easily become overwhelmed with information quickly. Thats why we wrote this article. You may not know the difference between the different models of Playstation 3’s and thats okay. We are going to take the different models and break it down for you. Then we will show you the best places to buy a Playstation 3 online and even give you price comparison!
The Basics
You have 4 models to choose from. The 20GB model, the 40GB model, the 60GB model and the 80GB model.
Feature List
| Features | 20 GB | 40 GB | 60 GB | 80 GB |
| USB 2.0 Ports | 4 | 2 | 4 | 4 |
| IEEE 802.11b/g Wi-Fi | NO | NO | YES | YES |
| Flash Card Readers | NO | NO | YES | YES |
| SACD Playback | YES | NO | YES | YES |
| PS2 Compatible | Hardware | NO | Hardware | Software |
| Chrome Trim | NO | YES | YES | YES |
So, Which one is right for me?
Thats a tough question and one you will have to answer. My personal choice is the 60GB model because I can have WiFi, Flash card readers and I can still play my old Playstation 2 games without having to use software. But, 60GB may not be enough for you, especially if you are going to be downloading games from the Sony network. You may want to go with the 80GB model. It’s totally a choice of how much you are going to use it and what your needs are. Remember, these models are not upgradeable so it’s better to go above what you need than to not have what you need.
Where to Buy - Price Comparison
It’s hard to find the 20GB model now. We have found two places to get them. They are listed below.
Click the link below the model you want to go directly to the on merchant. If the merchant name is visible then they have that model in stock.
