- Optional XM NavTraffic™
- -DVD/CD/WMA/MP3
- -6.1″ color display
- -Bluetooth capability
- -Complete navigation system
- -Satellite radio/iPod-ready
Pro’s: Awesome display! The wide screen has 1440 x 234 pixel resolution, so you know it is crystal clear!
Designed for user ease of use. Controls are positioned around bezel for optimal user experience.
Add the XM Nav Traffic option and you will be ahead of the rest in your commute home! Traffic info is provided in a continuous feed!
The Pioneer AVIC-D3 navigation system comes with the massive Tele Atlas database on 2 DVD’s to bring you turn by turn directions quickly via the graphic map interface and voice guidance.
There is also an optional CD-BTB200 Bluetooth adapter which will enable you to make and receive hands free phone calls. The phone call comes through your car speakers and your voice is picked up from the included mic.
The AVIC-D3 is also sleek and smooth, providing the perfect user experience with it’s double din construction ( which is standard on most vehicles ) and it’s ability to change the back light to accommodate any mood.
The AVIC-D3 is also satellite radio and iPod-ready! Satellite radio is built in but all it takes to hook up your iPod is the optional CD-I200 iPod connector and you are good to go!
Cons:
Not much really. The only thing is you have to switch out DVD’s but you have to pull over to type in the directions so, switching them out is no big deal anyway. And, with the super fast processors it is so quick!
Overall:
You could not find this deck with all of these features in another brand name under $1600 bucks. It’s well worth it and will be reliable and dependable like the Pioneer name always is.
