When looking for a monitor for your PC or Mac you might want to consider the HP W2207. I have been very impressed with what I have seen so far. The picture is stunning to say the least and HP usually makes very reliable equipment.

The HP Pavilion DV6605US has a 15.4 inch wide screen display, 160GB Hard Drive, 1 GB of DDR/2 Ram, Built in Wireless, Lightscribe dual layer DVD & CD burner, an AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 TK-55 processor and has Windows Vista Home Premium pre-installed.
This is a feature packed laptop at a great price. Will it do what you need it to do? Let’s have a look.
The DV6605 has plenty of nice features including a massive 160GB hard drive. Usually a hard drive that large is found in more expensive laptops. It also features a fast processor which is not as fast as the Duo Core but will do the job nicely.
This notebook has a DVD dual layer writer and CD burner with LightScribe technology which lets you print a cover right on the DVD. It beats a Sharpe any day!
Also, the DV6605 has a great look like only HP can bring to a laptop. Very sleek and stylish without compromising on features like the display.
Now for the bad, this thing comes loaded with trial ware which is very annoying. My suggestion if you get one is to go to add/remove programs and get rid of all the trial versions of pre-installed software unless you would like to try them out. These programs will only take up space and slow your computer down in the long run if you are not going to use them. Also, the video card is an NVIDIA GeForce 7150M. It’s not bad but it’s not the top of the line either. But, I guess that is to be expected in a budget laptop. The video card will allow most 3D applications to run fine but very intensive 3D games will likely get clunky.
Overall
This is a very nice laptop. If you are expecting to use this as a gaming platform forget about it. But, if you are looking for a laptop that is cheap, and feature rich go for this one. It will be very fast and powerful for all of your general computer needs besides heavy 3D gaming. Plus, it is backed by HP’s track records for quality laptops and will not be outdated very quickly. With the amount of storage, the wide screen display and such it is a great choice.
