The BD-P1400 also supports the new Dolby Digital Plus Audio format. Dolby Digital Plus is the next generation in audio so you know the BD-P1400 is on the cutting edge. It also supports uncompressed PCM Audio and Legacy dts 5.1 Dolby Digital.
The BD-P1400 up converts your standard DVD’s to 1080p resolution and plays Blu-ray DVD’s up to 1920×1080 resolution. You also have the option of selecting 60 and 24 frame per second and Dolby True HD and DTS HD.
